Limestone

A golf ball nestled among tan and gray rocks.

Rip Rap
Our largest limestone. These heavy stones hold slopes in place, armor shorelines, and manage water flow where smaller rock would wash away. The go-to choice for drainage channels and erosion control.

#1 Limestone (1 3/8" – 3 1/2")
Big, angular stone that stays put. Use it to protect slopes from erosion or as a heavy-duty base layer under driveways and parking lots.

#2 Limestone (1 3/8" – 2 1/2")
Slightly smaller than #1 but built for the same jobs — slope protection and solid base construction for driveways and parking areas. Pairs with #53 or #73 to lock into a rock-solid drive.

#8 Limestone (1", clean)
A clean, powder-free stone that's perfect for topping driveways. Because it contains no fines, water moves through it freely — making 8's a great drainage stone too.

#9 Limestone (3/4", clean)
The smaller cousin of our 8's. This clean 3/4" stone gives driveways a finished top layer and works well in French drains and other drainage applications.

#53 Limestone (1 1/2" with fines)
Stone and limestone dust together — and that's the point. The fines let it compact into a hard, stable surface for driveways, parking areas, and roadways that carry heavy equipment. Lock it over a base of 2's for a drive that lasts.

#73 Limestone (1" with fines)
Like #53 but in a smaller stone, #73 compacts tight for driveways, parking pads, and equipment roads. Combine with 2's underneath for maximum strength.

Manufactured Sand
Finely crushed limestone with small 3/16" stone throughout. Compacts into a smooth, stable surface — ideal as driveway top dressing or as a base for pavers and retaining walls, with the drainage to match.

Sand Stone
Crushed limestone with a texture made for compacting. Lay it under pavers, steppers, and flagstone for a foundation that supports the weight and drains the water.
